You can fill out our checkout form or email us your model. Installation As easy as 1-2-3: Take out your old TiVo Hard Drive. You will need Torx #10 for Tivo S3 and both #10 and #15 for Tivo HD. Put in new replacement TiVo Hard Drive. Go through the guided setup as if you got a new TiVo. Your season pass settings, recorded shows, thumb ratings will not be preserved. However, this will not erase your subscription status with TiVo. All that information is kept on your main unit not on the hard drive. You will need a phone line or broadband connection in order to complete the guided setup. Please note that if you have CableCard installed in your TiVo Series 3 or TivoHD prior to replacing your drive, you might have problem viewing some digital channels. This problem occurs due to mismatched Host ID and Data ID. You need to call your cable provider and have them match the Data ID (CableCard ID) with your Tivo Host ID. If you have not activated your CableCard and planning on upgrading your drive, it's best to wait until you get an upgrade drive first. For retail hard drives, it will be repacked with the manufacturer approved packaging for safe transportation so retail box is not included. Warranty & Return Policy Warranty Details: Hard drive is brand new, not refurbished. It carries industry leading 3 year warranty from manufacture date by Samsungl. We stand by our product as well so if it doesn't work on your TiVo, send it back within 30 days of receiving the product and full refund will be provided. If you want a replacement instead, we will send you a replacement. After 30 days, if the product fails, we will work with you to get RMA service from manufacturer. All rework on the drive or replacement drive will be free for 1 yr from the date of purchase. However, you will have to pay for any return shipping costs after 30 days. Just to be clear, buyer is responsible for all shipping costs for returning the product to us or RMA service if it is necessary. Return Policy Details: If an item does not function or is damaged during the shipping process, full refund will be provided. Buyer is responsible for the return shipping charges. The defective item must be returned with in 30 days. The defective item must be in the same condition as it was when it was sent, unless it's damaged during shipping process.
