Description
Sony SVR-2000 Works just fine. Has a 40 gig hard drive which can be upgraded cheaply these days. Comes with the power cord and the remote no other accessories included. Really all you need to do is plug it in, turn it on and start recording***. Tivo subcription reqired for schedule information downloads though. I upgraded my system and no longer use this nifty little DVR. There are tons of hacks out there for this model- as it is very popular. Sold AS IS in working condition. Please ask questions if you have them. Please see the pictures for what you are getting and further information. Thanks for looking!Shipping looks high but it is CAREFULLY packed and includes insurance too. I ship FAST- if my estimate is off by more than a few (2-3) dollars you will be refunded the difference. I don't sell in bulk, or sell anything I have not personally used and checked out. *** according to my research there is no longer a "dumb vcr" mode for these. Tivo sent out an "upgrade" that fixed certain things including the dumb vcr mode. What that means is that you must have a subscription in order to properly use this as a DVR. That being said- there MIGHT be ways to use this without a TIVO subscription. I have no knowlege about this- please do not ask. I am selling this unit as used- and will not provide any support other than referring you to TIVO. Caveat Emptor.
