I purchased this SLHF-1000 in 1989 and have used its flying erase heads and insert capabilities for original production editing and for off-air recording of TV shows. Playback and recording in multiple speeds is offered for BI, BIs, Super High Band, BII (standard), and BIII (economy).It can record and play high quality stereo audio as well, so we used it in the production of the "Steve Allen's Meeting of Minds" radio series in the 1990's for KCSN in Los Angeles. The scanner was replaced several years ago, so the heads are in very good condition and I had the VCR serviced in July 2008 (I'll include the invoice).The exterior looks good except for surface scratches on the top of the case. The remote is included. The "stop" button on the remote no longer functions. The owner's guide is currently missing (yes, I checked under the bed). Place a Bid!
