I just didn't want to pay someone else to sift through my old Alf & SNL reruns from the 80's, while I looked for family videos.  I can guarantee that this Betamax player works.  It plays tapes, it rewinds & forwards.   However, the eject funtion doesn't really work.  When I used it, I just took the lid off the box & had to "help" the tape out each time, by a gentle lift/push.  I'm positive that someone more technical can probably fix that minor issue.  However, if you are just looking for a Betamax player that plays tapes & are willing to nudge the tape out each time, like I did, this deal is for you : )  I will guarantee that it actually plays, rewinds & fast forwards perfectly.  Additionally, all of the lights work on the display.  I didn't try to record with it, but I believe that function works as well.  I'll even include the cord that you need to hook it up to your TV (composite connector - white & yellow).
