It has been Tested thoroughly and is in excellent condition. A Test Tape will be included to confirm the Play/Record and tracking performance. We sold over hundred of Sony Beta decks in the past seven years and received perfect buyer feedback. It plays ALL beta modes (BI,II and III) and records (BII and III) with crystal clear quality. It hasn't got the fancy editing functions of the high-end units such as the SL-HF900 or 1000, but the video and audio (with CD quality) are as good. It performs well in transferring beta tapes onto other formats such as DVD or VHS. Cosmetically is in great shape. There is no scratch on the front panel or on the top cover. Cosmetically is in good shape except that the small front door is missing. Of course, it is only for cosmetic purposes and will not affect any vcr function what-so-ever.
