Went to play my wedding tape recently to show off the resolution (more than 500 lines horizontal!!) which is GREATER THAN DVD QUALITY, and it ate the tape. I was able to easily remove the tape, and Luckily I have both a DVD and an S-VHS copy as well! Since we are moving, I have elected to sell this unit instead of having it repaired. Who knows, it could be an easy fix, just don't have the time to mess with it. If you know ED Beta, you know what this deck is capable of!!
