Description
Up for auction is a Pioneer laser disk player model CLD-S201 in very nice condition. It has been tested by playing a complete laser disk movie and it functioned fine. The video quality is near DVD and the sound is like a CD. This model is a high end one with pulseflow feature and direct CD operation. It has a separate smaller CD door and a CD push button that when you press the eject button, only the CD door opens to play a CD. It has the usual LD function buttons as well as Digital level control, Random and Hi-lite play. There are 10 + individual track or chapter buttons on the front to jump directly to a desired part of the disk. There is a jug shuttle knob on the right side for forward and reverse scans. At the back, there are stereo RCA type audio and video outputs. Cosmetically the machine looks very good with minor surface scratches on the top. This unit is solidly built and made in Japan so there is a good quality to it. Good luck and have fun bidding. Please have a look at my other quality items for auction that may interest you.
