Description
Up for auction is one of the better laserdisc players made. The Pioneer CLD-D925 plays both NTSC & Pal laserdiscs provided you have the proper setup to view Pal on your screen. You would also need a Pal to NTSC converter. The player is 220-240 volts and would also need a step up transformer to view in the US. This unit is in great working condition and includes the original remote, powercord and manual. This player does have S-Video output and does change from A to B sides without removing the disc. Due to cost in shipping for this item, I want to try and stay in the US for shipping. Unless you are willing to pay for the high shipping cost overseas then I might consider depending on your location. Here are some specs The CLD-D925 was launched in June 1996 as a replacement for the previous high end machine, the CLD-2950. The CLD-D925 continues almost all the features of the CLD-2950 and for the first time ever on a dual standard machine adds a field store to allow freeze frame and slow motion on CLV (Long Play) discs. This feature, which has been available on high end NTSC LaserDisc players since the late 1980s finally means that the dual standard machines are no longer second-grade citizens to their NTSC counterparts. The CLD-D925 also shares with the revamped versions of the lower end players the addition of an Dolby AC-3 output. Pioneer list its key features as being: 3-Line Digital Y/C Seperation and Noise Reduction Horizontal Resolution (PAL/NTSC): 440/425 lines 1-bit Direct Linear Conversion for CD and LD digital audio Quick Turn high speed side change Independent CD tray Display Off Mode for less interuption when viewing a film Last memory with review mode Optical Digital Output
