LIFETIME ACTIVATION. NO MONTHLY FEES! This unit was rarely used and is in Great Shape, Minor crack in upper left front face, but it does not affect the unit, and is not that noticeable. Hard drive is like new, and was just installed and checked and everything is working fine! Unit was hooked up recently and it downloaded the channel guide just fine... The only reason I am selling this unit is because I now own newer models of ReplayTV that have the networking feature! This unit works perfectly and would be a fine addition to any home entertainment system! Perfect for the children, record all of their favorite cartoons and give them hours of enjoyment! This unit will hookup to your standard cable or a cable box with no problems and is programmable. The recorder has a 80 GB hard disk which provides the following recording times. Extended quality mode - 81.1 hoursMedium quality mode - 40.5 hoursHigh quality mode - 27.0 hours You can set the recording quality on an individual show basis as desired. The recorder requires a telephone line to connect to the ReplayTV service on a nightly basis around 2 AM to update the program guide and to set the clock. This recorder has lifetime activation for this service! New models of ReplayTVs require payment of a $299.00 fee to get lifetime activation.
