This DirecTV Tivo looks like it is BRAND NEW Inside & Out. It is actually much better than it was when it was shipped from the factory. It has a Much Bigger & Much Better Hard Drive. It now has 663 Hours of Recording Capacity. This is Very Nice Philips DSR708R/17 DirecTV Tivo Receiver. It is Complete in the Factory Box which is also as New and comes with a New Complete Set of Cables and a Pristine Remote with New Batteries. You will need an Access Card from DirecTV. If you are replacing an existing receiver you have, you can ask them to move that card over to this one. This is a Dolby 5.1 Standard Definition DirecTV Tivo. It is NOT a Hi-Def Dvr. It is However, MUCH better than NEW, because it NOW has a Brand New 750gb Hard Drive made by Seagate and it carries a 5 Year Manufactures Warranty. Record and keep everything you want. You have alot of room on this Tivo. The ONLY change to this Tivo for the auction has been the Hard Drive. It is being listed with just the stock features. However, there are modifications that can be done this Series 2 receiver to make it even better it came stock. I would be glad to help The Buyer obtain the information, access the many resources available including myself at no charge, to enable this Tivo to make Full Use of ALL the hacks and modifications available and talked about in the Tivo Upgrading Forums and Books. The buyer can have it customized and add only what they want on it. Once enhanced and modified, the unit can be connected to your home network. From there you can add Home Media, which lets you view your PC stored photos and play your MP3's through you home audio system with this Tivo. The Pause time can be expanded to a Full Hour instead of just 30 minutes. The 30 second skip can be turned on. MRV is also an option for the standard definition Series 2's.
