Description
LOADED Pioneer DVR-810H Series 2 TiVo & DVD Recorder Combo – PLUS TiVo Plus Product Lifetime Subscription (NOT Basic), Upgraded 395 Hour 300GB HDD, Linksys USB100M Network Adapter, all Manuals and Cables, and extra cables; a combined value of over $1800.00. This auction is for a LOADED Pioneer DVR-810H Series 2 TiVo and DVD Recorder combo, loaded with extras. Our family LOVED this device and it is in great working order. We’re getting rid of it because we unadvisedly switched our TV provider to a satellite company and since we’re locked into a contract, we are stuck using their DVR (which is a joke compared to this TiVo). There is simply no substitute for a TiVo – the functionality and user-friendliness of the device is unmatched. The auction includes the following: 1. Pioneer DVR-810H with all manuals and cables (MSRP $1,199.99). 2. TiVo Plus Product Lifetime Subscription (MSRP $399.99; this is not the “basic” service that comes with the box; it is the “full blown” TiVo service). 3. Upgraded 300GB HDD from Weaknees (MSRP $159.99). 4. Linksys USB100M USB Network Adapter (MSRP ($39.99). 5. Extra S-Video, Component, and R/W Stereo Audio cables. In addition to the “standard” TiVo functions – i.e. record, pause, rewind, fast forward, instant replay, skipping through commercials (google “TiVo and 30 second skip”), swivel search, wishlists, season passes, etc. – the DVR-810H allows you watch DVDs right through your TiVo and burn your recorded programming to DVD playable in a standard DVD player!! The included TiVo Plus Product Lifetime Subscription gives you full access and privileges afforded TiVo customers. It is NOT the watered-down “basic” version that comes prepackaged with the device; it is the full-blown TiVo service…for FREE! The online account with full access and privileges will be transferred to the winning bidder along with the device. The upgraded 300GB HDD from Weaknees gives you 395 hours of recording time at Basic Quality. That’s nearly FIVE TIMES THE CAPACITY of the 80 hour “stock” device. The included Linksys Network Adapter will allow you to connect the TiVo to your home network so you can take advantage of the TiVo Home Media features by connecting the 810H to your PC using the TiVo Desktop software. This will allow you to download recorded programming from the TiVo to your computer (and keeping it there or move it to your portable media device), and allow you to view photos and listen to music stored on your PC on your TiVo. You can also schedule programs remotely over the web through TiVo.com or Yahoo! TV, download movies from Amazon Unbox, and take advantage of a whole host of other online services like Rhapsody, Yahoo! Traffic, Yahoo! Weather, Music Choice, Internet Radio through Live365, Podcasts, Yahoo! Photos, and much more. The laundry list of features of this device goes on and on. And the best part is that, since it’s a TiVo, you can do all of this using the most user-friendly interface on the market. It might sound a little cliché, but this isn’t just a DVR…it’s a TiVo Home Media Device with all the extras! Email me with questions. Paypal only. Shipping via USPS to U.S. only.On Jul-22-08 at 13:58:42 PDT, seller added the following information:EDITED TO CLARIFY CONFUSION RE USE OF 810H WITH SATELLITE PROVIDERS: In the above description, I advised that the reason we were getting rid of our beloved TiVo was because we switched to satellite and are stuck with that satellite company's DVR. Since then, I have received questions regarding the the usability of this device with satellite TV (i.e. DirecTV, Dish Network, etc.). In my particular case, I have been unsuccessful getting it to work with a specific model satellite box (HR20-700) from a specific provider (DirecTV). Although I cannot personally verify this, as I understand it, the 810H DOES generally work with satellite boxes and cable boxes using the (included) IR blaster (as well as through a direct analog cable and/or OTA cable). Sorry for the confusion. On Jul-24-08 at 06:45:10 PDT, seller added the following information:CLICK HERE TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TIVO PLUS PRODUCT LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION (WHICH THIS UNIT COMES WITH) AND THE "BASIC" SERVICE (WHICH IS PREPACKAGED).
